The US Army War College Military Spouse and Family Studies Program (MSFP) meets Secretary of the Army objectives and Chief of Staff of the Army priorities as they relate to the well-being, readiness, and resilience of service members and their families. The US Army War College recognizes the critical strategic partnership that spouses and families represent to their servicemembers and to the Force. That recognition fuels the MSFP vision -- to provide innovative spouse and family education and development programs with opportunities for learning and connection to positively impact senior leaders' family well-being and military life satisfaction.
The Military Spouse and Family Program (MSFP) educates and develops spouses of senior leaders for sustained service at the senior enterprise level, and for informal leadership roles with the responsibility for developing and implementing personal, family, unit, organization, and community readiness, morale and cohesion. By aligning the MSFP with its academic programs, the USAWC is positioned to provide innovative military spouse and family education and development programs to strengthen senior leaders and their families for continued service at the strategic enterprise level
