• WPS Humanitarian Action Compact- In JULY 2021, as part of the Generation Equality Forum, the U.S. government became a signatory partner of the WPS-HA Compact in three thematic issues. DoD has equities in two of the thematic issues: women’s leadership and full, equal, and meaningful participation across peace, security, and humanitarian sectors, and protecting women’s human rights in conflict and crisis contexts. Within the thematic areas are action commitments that the interagency will report against. Reporting is based on information is already being collected and will not require additional data calls.
