Blackboard and Office365 Access Information

CIO has compiled this three-step process to ensure that every student and fellow has access to all 3 academic digital sites. Please pass to your students in whatever manner that's appropriate; it's also on Facebook.

USAWC will be using the .edu email as primary delivery of academic information for (1) Blackboard and (2) Compass and (3) Office 365 Collaboration. Follow these steps to set and/or confirm your access --

1. GO TO Compass,
a. At "Manage my Accounts," choose Office 365 link, then select (on right side of page) see O365 login instructions to view username and interim password.

2. Verify access to Office 365 at .
Apply username and interim password and create new password.

3. Set your Blackboard access by returning to Compass:
a. At "Manage My Accounts," choose the Blackboard link, then check your student contact information for "preferred email addresses"
b. Compass will auto generate Blackboard username and password and send it to your "preferred email address"
c. Check the inbox of your "preferred email" address to find username and password sent by blackboard.
d. Then confirm by logging on to Blackboard with your username and password:

Final check: Once access is confirmed, Log in to Compass and change primary email to reflect your .edu address (if not already .edu).
